Fred Lincoln,  a prime player in preserving Cainhoy Peninsula history, will lead a tour of the Venning Cemetery…an active African American cemetery for those that were once enslaved on the Venning Plantation (now known as Cainhoy Plantation) and for members of the nearby Jack Primus Community.

Minimum of a $25 Donation…Your donation will be used to help repair the fence around the cemetery (Donation to be given at the time of the tour. Cash or check, please.)

DI Historical Society Members may RSVP until Friday March 4.  After that time, if there is any space available, registration will be opened to non-members

NOTE:  THERE WILL BE AN EARLIER TOUR At 10:30 AM THE SAME DAY….ALL THE DETAILS, INCLUDING MEMBERS HAVE FIRST ACCESS, APPLY TO BOTH TOURS.
