There are several changes in our April program you need to be aware of.   We will be doing a very hands on program to introduce you to indigo and its role in South Carolina History.  Instead of our normal Tuesday night, this program will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 22.  Attendance will be limited to thirty people and there will be a $20 charge (normal charge for this program is $65),

Here are some more details:

Indigo, the vibrate blue dye that was started here in the colonies by a 17 year old named Eliza Lucas Pinckney. Come spend the morning with the Daniel Island Historical Society and learn more about the amazing history of Indigo and have an opportunity to work hands-on with the dye.

When: Saturday April 22, 2017
