DIHS members tour Hopsewee Plantation

The Lowcountry is renowned for plantation tours….Middleton, Drayton, Boone Hall, Magnolia and more. But right up the road in Georgetown is another adventure you may want to consider. And we’re going to make it easy for DIHS members.   

DIHS board member Rich Dorval has worked with Hopsewee Plantation to put together what sounds like a fascinating experience ranging from first hand history to first class food!

Friday, April 19th 2024 @ 9:45am – 1:15pm

It’s impossible to predict but mid April weather is usually terrific making this journey into history all the more a pleasant adventure. Please join us!

Participants will meet at: 494 Hopsewee Rd, Georgetown, SC 29440. Please plan on 55 minutes travel time and arrival at 9:45am. Rich Dorval will be part of the tour group and on hand for any issues that arise.
