DIHS has three events in April worth your consideration!!

First up is our monthly program. At 7pm, Tuesday, April 16, the Charleston Museum’s Virginia Theerman will take us on a history tour of textiles and the stories they tell: BEHIND THE SEAMS: Exploring Charleston’s Fashion History! CLICK HERE for more.

And the following Friday, April 19, board member Rich Dorval has set up a special tour for DIHS members of Hopsewee Plantation. There’s still time for you to sign up and join in! For more information CLICK HERE.

And on Arbor Day, April 25, DIHS President and co-founder Beth Bush will share the story of Martha Daniell Logan’s childhood on DI, and her numerous subsequent contributions to both the study of botany and her role in Downtown Charleston’s most storied gardens and landscapes.
