Her latest book, to be released in 2022, is entitled Broad Street and Beyond, Charleston’s Nexus of Power. Ms. Eastman’s other published works include Remembering Old Charleston – A Peek Behind Parlor Doors (2008), Old Charleston Originals from Celebrities to Scoundrels (2011) and Hidden History of Civil War Charleston (2012). She co-authored Hidden History of Old Charleston with Edward Good (2010). Ms. Eastman also works as a freelance writer for The Charleston Mercury.NOTE: This meeting will be in the main worship space, NOT the community center where we normally meet due to a scheduling conflict.
