A reminder….and a new opportunity!
As you know, the pandemic restrictions required us to postpone the Daniel Island Ferry History tour originally scheduled for this Saturday, April 25.
Organizer Beth Bush has been able to reschedule this event to Saturday, August 22. Everyone registered for the original tour has been notified and, unfortunately, 4 couples had conflicts with the new date. They are currently in process of being reimbursed.
So that is the opportunity…. there are eight seats available on the new date. Particulars remain the same: $25 per person for DIHS members. $35 per person for nonmembers.
An afternoon cruise on the Daniel Island Ferry while DIHS co-founder Mike Dahlman shares some of his extensive knowledge of Daniel Island History. Plus cake and refreshments. What a great way to celebrate island namesake Robert Daniell’s birthday even if we’re a few months late. Here’s a bonus….it looks like we’ll have some Daniell descendants on the cruise.
NEW TIME, DATE PLACE:
Saturday, August 22
2-330pm
Ferry Dock at 101 River Landing (opposite Children’s Park
