Need Some Holiday Gift Ideas?

Is picking holiday gifts a chore for you?  We have a couple suggestions for unique gifts that will make the process much easier and create lasting memories.
Let’s start with putting a tree under the Christmas tree…..or at least the paperwork showing your thoughtful adoption of one of Daniel Island’s magnificent live oaks in the name of friends or family. .
Check out our tree adoption program at  Board Member Mark Haebig is ready to help. .   Trees have been adopted and named/dedicated to parents, family and friends in a truly unique and lasting gesture.  And you don’t have to gift wrap the tree!
Looking for something a bit more compact but just as eye catching?  We have several options for prints by noted Lowcountry artist Jonathon Green!
This one was created to celebrate the 100tth anniversary of the birth of Daniel Island legendary iron smith Philip Simmons.  It is available, unsigned, for $25.
Our other print was created as part of Mr. Green’s participation in our 2016 celebration “Live Oak Lights: Illuminating our Heritage.”

This gem comes in two options….unsigned for $25 or signed by the artist for only $50.   That’s a spectacular deal.  All three prints will be available for purchase and pickup at our October 18 and November 15 DIHS programs.
