Sponsoring art shows at local schools is one of the ways DIHS reaches out and supports local art, history and social studies teachers. The most recent example was eighth graders at Daniel Island School displaying their work inspired by local history of indigo and ceramics in the spirit of Dave the Potter.

Another part of our extensive school outreach program are History Trunks. Indigo is one of the many elements that keep local kids fascinated and anxious to learn more local history. CLICK HERE to learn more about the trunks and what’s in them.
