On Friday night this week, 10/1, and on Friday, November 5th we will have our DIHS Information Tent at the Daniel Island Night Market at Guggenheim Terrace. From 5-9PM, Kim Sermersheim and other board members will be explaining our Mission and we will be recruiting new members.
Even more importantly, it will be an opportunity for current members to renew their membership and update their dues.
Because we’ve only held virtual meetings during the pandemic, many of us did not have an opportunity to pay the annual dues that are so vital to our group’s efforts to preserve and share local history.
The board has decided to simply forego 2021 dues given the pandemic. Going forward, dues will be on a January-December timeline. Dues paid before the end of this year will apply throughout 2022.
We will be able to process credit card payments via the Square app as well as accept cash or checks. Whatever works best for you!
Your participation, and, frankly, your dues support, are critical to the ongoing success of DIHS. Please join us tomorrow, Friday, October 1 and/or Friday November 5 from 5-9 pm at the Daniel Island Night Market at Guggenheim Terrace.
We’re not sure where on the Terrace we’ll be located, but you’re sure to see lots of other interesting stuff as you look for us. See you there!
