We have our first three programs of the year set for Tuesday September 19, Tuesday October 17 and Tuesday November 14.  All are at 7 pm at Daniel Island Church of the Holy Cross, 299 Seven Farms Drive.  For all the exciting details please check our calendar of events.

Our Mighty Waters: Charleston’s Maritime Heritage 1670-1865 Tuesday, October 17

Charleston’s Dueling Legacy Tuesday, November 14

The Sound of Charleston Tuesday, September 19

The start of a new program year also means it’s time to renew your DIHS membership or, better yet, join us for the first time.   Your presence and participation on our programs is obviously vital.  But your financial support via dues and contributions is also critically important to programs and projects like the annual History Under The Stars Family Campouts, our ongoing efforts to register and catalogue Daniel Island’s live oaks, and our outreach to local schools with projects such as History Trunks and Philip Simmons Art Shows.
